• Run the downloaded installer.
• Login to the Creative Cloud Desktop app with your [email protected] and password.

Getting started.

• Toggle Item What is Adobe Creative Cloud? Adobe Creative Cloud is a compilation of professional applications used for editing and creating video, design, photography, and web design.

BYU Employees

• Open the Creative Cloud desktop app
• Navigate to the "Your Work" tab
• Select the "Your Works Link" icon in the left sidebar
• Select "Open sync folder"
• You can drag and drop synced files directly from Creative Cloud to your desktop
• Open the  Creative Cloud website .
• Go to the tab containing your file:
• Select a file and then select the More actions icon …
• Select "download" to obtain the file.
• Toggle Item How do I access my files after my account expires? When your license expires, you will lose access to your university Creative Cloud products and files. If you want to continue editing your files stored on the Creative Cloud you must migrate them to a new, personal Creative Cloud membership or a different, personal storage location. • Toggle Item What happens to my account when I graduate? If you purchased a Creative Cloud license through BYU, your access will continue past graduation until a year after your purchase date. If you were granted a Creative Cloud license due to an on-campus job, you will lose access to Adobe products and files upon graduation. If you want to continue editing your files stored on the Creative Cloud you must migrate them to a new, personal Creative Cloud membership or a different, personal storage location. Troubleshooting

• Toggle Item "You don't have access to manage apps" Mac: This error can be resolved by running the following package: Mac Adobe Apps-Tab Repair Note: In order to run this package you will need to Control-click the package icon Windows: This error can be resolved by running the following package: Windows Adobe Apps-Tab Repair
• Toggle Item Acrobat Error: "The serial number ... is already in use by the maximum allowed computers" The following instructions will resolve the Acrobat serial number error: 1. Download and run the Acrobat Cleaner Tool . 2. Re-install Acrobat here .
• Toggle Item Can I request a refund for my Adobe CC purchase? You may only request a refund within 30 days of purchasing Adobe CC with good reason. (i.e. you accidentally purchased two licenses) We cannot refund a purchase that you made with Adobe, only purchases directly through BYU. In order to request a refund, you need to provide proof of purchase. Please contact IT support to request a refund.

The Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications is available for download for degree and credit-seeking students (enrolled in the current term), faculty, and staff.

For all new subscriptions follow the instructions below:

Go to adobe.com and click sign in.

Enter your New School email address and click continue

Select Company or School Account

Enter your NetID and Password

Click on View All Creative Cloud Apps in the top right menu

You will first have to select "More" to see all the available apps. 

Select the Adobe applications you want to install

You will see a list of Adobe applications available to you.

Learn how to download and install Creative Cloud apps (including the Creative Cloud desktop app). Follow these steps when downloading your apps for the first time or when downloading them on a new or an additional computer.

How to download your Creative Cloud apps

Sign in at  creativecloud.adobe.com/apps , then select either  Download  or Install for the app you want to install. 

Looking for the Creative Cloud desktop app?  It installs automatically with your first app. If you prefer, you can  download it directly . 

   If you are using an account provided by your school or company, you can  request Adobe products or services  that you don't already have access to.

Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. 

On successful installation, the Creative Cloud desktop app launches at the same time as your Creative Cloud app.

To install more apps, select  Install  for the app in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Problems installing?

Most errors are associated with a code. To find instructions for your error code, see  Fix errors installing Creative Cloud apps .

Sign out and then sign in to the Creative Cloud desktop app. If the issue still persists, see  Stop Creative Cloud from showing trial mode after purchase . 

Deactivation disconnects your apps from a specific computer, and lets you run them on another computer. You can  sign out (or deactivate) using your Adobe accounts page .
