दीपावली का अर्थ: दिवाली जिसे "दीपावली" के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, भारत और दुनिया भर में रहने वाले हिंदुओं के सबसे पवित्र त्योहारों में से एक है। ‘दीपावली' संस्कृत के दो शब्दों से मिलकर बना है – दीप + आवली। ‘दीप’ का अर्थ होता है ‘दीपक’ तथा ‘आवली’ का अर्थ होता है ‘शृंखला’, जिसका मतलब हुआ दीपों की शृंखला या दीपों की पंक्ति। दीपावली का त्योहार कार्तिक मास के अमावस्या के दिन मनाया जाता है। यह त्योहार दुनिया भर के लोगों द्वारा बहुत उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। हालांकि इसे हिंदू त्योहार माना जाता है, लेकिन विभिन्न समुदायों के लोग भी पटाखे और आतिशबाजी के जरिए इस उज्ज्वल त्योहार को मनाते हैं।

दीपावली त्योहार की तैयारी: दीपावली त्योहार की तैयारियां दिवाली से कई दिनों पहले ही आरंभ हो जाती है। दीपावली के कई दिनों पहले से ही लोग अपने घरों की साफ-सफाई व रंगाई-पुताई करने में जुट जाते हैं क्योंकि ऐसी मान्यता है कि जो घर साफ-सुथरे होते हैं, उन घरों में दिवाली के दिन माँ लक्ष्मी विराजमान होती हैं तथा अपना आशिर्वाद प्रदान करके वहां सुख-समृद्धि में बढ़ोतरी करती हैं। दिवाली के नजदीक आते ही लोग अपने घरों को दीपक और तरह-तरह के लाइट्स से सजाना शुरू कर देते हैं।

दिवाली में पटाखों का महत्व: दीपावली को "रोशनी का त्योहार - प्रकाश पर्व" कहा जाता है। इस दिन लोग मिट्टी के बने दीपक जलाते हैं और अपने घरों को विभिन्न रंगों और प्रकारों की रोशनी से सजाते हैं, जिसे देखकर कोई भी मंत्रमुग्ध हो सकता है। इस पर्व में बच्चों को पटाखे जलाना और विभिन्न तरह के आतिशबाजी जैसे फुलझड़ियां, रॉकेट, फव्वारे, चक्री आदि बहुत पसंद होते हैं।

दिवाली का इतिहास : हिंदू मान्यताओं के अनुसार, दिवाली के दिन ही भगवान श्री राम 14 वर्षों के वनवास के बाद अपनी पत्नी सीता, भाई लक्ष्मण और उनके उत्साही भक्त हनुमान के साथ अयोध्या लौटे थे, अमावस्या की रात होने के कारण दिवाली के दिन काफी अंधेरा होता है, जिस वजह से उस दिन पूरे अयोध्या को दीपों और फूलों से भगवान श्री राम चंद्र के लिए सजाया गया था, ताकि भगवान राम के आगमन में कोई परेशानी न हो, तब से लेकर आज तक इसे दीपों का त्योहार और अंधेरे पर प्रकाश की जीत के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

इस शुभ अवसर पर, बाजारों में भगवान गणेश जी, लक्ष्मी जी, राम जी आदि की मूर्तियों की खरीदारी की जाती है। इस दौरान बाजारों में खूब चहल-पहल होती है। लोग इस अवसर पर नए कपड़े, बर्तन, मिठाइयां आदि खरीदते है। हिंदुओं द्वारा देवी लक्ष्मी की पूजा की जाती है, क्योंकि व्यापारी दिवाली के पर्व पर नए बहीखाते की शुरुआत करते हैं। साथ ही, लोगों का मानना है कि यह खूबसूरत त्योहार सभी के लिए धन, समृद्धि और सफलता लाता है। लोग दिवाली के त्योहार के अवसर पर अपने परिवार, दोस्तों और रिश्तेदारों के साथ उपहारों का आदान-प्रदान करने के लिए तत्पर रहते हैं।

दीपवाली से जुड़ी सामाजिक कुरीतियां

दीपावाली जैसे धार्मिक महत्व वाले पर्व के पावन अवसर पर भी कुछ असामाजिक तत्व अपने बुरी आदत जैसे शराब का सेवन, जुआ खेलना, टोना-टोटका करना और पटाखों के गलत इस्तेमाल से इसे ख़राब करने में जुटे रहते हैं। अगर समाज में दीपावाली के दिन इन कुरीतियों को दूर रखा जाए तो दिवाली का पर्व वास्तव में शुभ दीपावली हो जाएगा।

• दीपावली का त्योहार लगभग 5 दिनों का होता है। जिस के पहले दिन धनतेरस होता है। धनतेरस के दिन लोग धातु की वस्तुएं जैसे सोने और चांदी के आभूषण को खरीद कर अपने घर जरूर लेकर जाते हैं।
• दीपावली का दूसरा दिन नरक चतुर्थी के रूप में मनाया जाता है। कुछ लोग इस दिन को छोटी दिवाली के रूप में भी मनाते हैं।
• तीसरा दिन दीपावली त्योहार का मुख्य दिन होता है। इस दिन देवी महालक्ष्मी और भगवान गणेश जी की पूजा की जाती है।
• दीपावली के चौथे दिन गोवर्धन पूजा की जाती है क्योंकि इस दिन भगवान कृष्ण ने इंद्र के क्रोध से हुई मूसलाधार वर्षा से लोगों को बचाने के लिए गोवर्धन पर्वत को अपनी एक उंगली पर उठा लिया था।

दिवाली पर निबंध (Diwali Essay in Hindi)

दीपावली (Deepawali) या दिवाली का अर्थ है दीपों की अवली मतलब दीपों की पंक्ति। यह पर्व विशेष कर भारत और भारत के पड़ोसी देश नेपाल में बहुत उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। इसके अतिरिक्त अन्य देशों में (जहां हिंदू निवास करते हैं) भी यह विधि पूर्वक मनाया जाता है। यह पर्व अपने साथ खुशी, उत्साह और ढ़ेर सारा उमंग लेकर आता है। कार्तिक माह के अमावस्या को दिवाली का पर्व अनेक दीपों के प्रकाश के साथ मनाया जाता है। इस विशेष दिन पर अमावस्या की काली रात दिपों के जगमगाहट से रौशन हो जाती है। दिपावली पर पुराने रीत के अनुसार सभी अपने घरों को दीपक से सजाते हैं।

निबंध – 1 (300 शब्द).

प्रभु राम के चौदह वर्ष का वनवास पूर्ण कर अयोध्या वापस आने के उपलक्ष्य में दिवाली मनाया गया, तब से प्रति वर्ष दिवाली मनाया जाने लगा। स्कंद पुराण के अनुसार दिवाली से जुड़ी अनेक कथाएं प्रचलित हैं। अतः आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से दिवाली हिंदुओं का बहुत अधिक महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है।

दीपावली (Deepawali) के उपलक्ष्य में विभिन्न प्रचलित कथाएं (इतिहास)

दिवाली का इतिहास बहुत पुराना है, इससे जुड़ी अनेक पौराणिक कथाएं प्रचलित हैं जैसे कुछ लोगों के अनुसार सतयुग में भगवान नृसिंह ने इस दिन हिरण्यकश्यप का वध किया था इस उपलक्ष्य में दिवाली मनाया जाता है। कुछ लोगों का मानना है द्वापर में कृष्ण ने नरकासुर का वध कार्तिक आमवस्या को किया था इसलिए मनाया जाता है। कुछ के अनुसार इस दिन माता लक्ष्मी दूध सागर से प्रकट हुई थी, एवं अन्य के अनुसार माँ शक्ति ने उस दिन महाकाली का रूप लिया था इसलिए मनाया जाता है।

दीपावली की सर्वाधिक प्रचलित कथा

दिवाली मनाए जाने वाले कारणों में सबसे प्रचलित कहानी त्रेता युग में प्रभु राम के रावण का वध कर चौदह वर्ष पश्चात माता सीता और भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ अयोध्या लौटने के उपलक्ष्य में पूरी अयोध्या नगरी को फूलों और दीपों से सजाया गया। तब से प्रति वर्ष कार्तिक अमावस्या को दिवाली मनाया जाने लगा।

दीपावली कब मनाई जाती है

उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में शरद ऋतु के कार्तिक माह की पूर्णिमा को यह दिपोत्सव धूम-धाम से मनाया जाता है। ग्रेगोरी कैलेंडर के अनुसार यह त्योहार अक्टूबर या नवम्बर माह में मनाया जाता है।

दीपावली (Deepawali) का महत्व

दिवाली की तैयारी के वजह से घर तथा घर के आस-पास के स्थानों की विशेष सफाई संभव हो पाती है। साथ ही दिवाली का त्योहार हमें हमारे परंपरा से जोड़ता है, हमारे आराध्य के पराक्रम का बोध कराता है। इस बात का भी ज्ञान कराता है कि, अंत में विजय सदैव सच और अच्छाई की होती है।

दिवाली के साथ जुड़ी अनेक पौराणिक कहानियां इसके महत्व को और अधिक बढ़ा देती हैं। इस त्योहार से हम सभी को सच के राह पर चलने की सीख प्राप्त होती है।

निबंध – 2 (400 शब्द)

दीपावली (Deepawali), स्वयं में अपनी परिभाषा व्यक्त करने वाला एक शब्द है, जिसे हम सब त्योहार के रूप में मनाते हैं। यह दीपों और रोशनी का त्योहार है। हर साल कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की अमावस्या को हम दीवाली के रुप में मनाते हैं। इसे सभी हिंदू देशों जैसे की भारत, नेपाल, आदि में बड़ी धूम-धाम से मनाया जाता है। परन्तु इस वर्ष कोरोना के कारण दीवाली की परिभाषा थोड़ी अलग होगी। खुशियां तो आएंगी परंतु अभी लोगों से दूरी बनाने में ही समझदारी है।

2020 की कोरोना वाली दीवाली

इस वर्ष जहां एक ओर पूरा विश्व कोरोना नामक महामारी से लड़ रहा है तो वही त्योहारों का मौसम भी ज़ोर पर है। त्योहारों का आनंद जरूर उठाये परन्तु यह याद रखें की सावधानी हटी, दुर्घटना घटी अर्थात कोरोना किसी भी रूप में आप तक पहुंच सकता है इस लिये कुछ नियमों का पालन करें जैसे:

• बाज़ार आवश्यक होने पर ही जाएं।
• सामान लेने के बाद घर आकर सामान को सैनिटाइज जरूर करें।
• मास्क पहनना न भूलें और एक छोटा सैनिटाइजर भी साथ में अवश्य रखें।
• दीवाली अपने साथ ठंडक को भी दस्तक देती है तो अपनी सेहत का भी ध्यान दें।
• एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनें और बच्चों को भी पटाखों से होने वाले नुकसान बताएं।
• मौसम बदलने पर ज्यादातर लोग बीमार पड़ते हैं इस लिये त्योहार की भागा दौड़ी में खुद का ख्याल रखना न भूलें।
• घरों में डस्टिंग और सफाई आदि करने से कई बार श्वास संबंधी रोग से पीड़ित लोगों को दिक्कत होने लगती है, इस लिये इसे करने से बचें क्यों की किसी भी तरह की श्वास संबंधी बीमारी होने पर लोगों में बेमतलब कोरोना की आशंका हो जाती है।
• स्वास्थ्य के अतिरिक्त लोकल सामानों को खरीदें और लोकल के लिये वोकल बनें और भारतीय उत्पाद अपनाएं।
• दीयों से खूबसूरत कुछ नहीं लगते, इस लिये विदेशी लाइटों की जगह घरों को मिट्टी के दीयों से सजाएँ और देश की अर्थव्यवस्था सुधारने में मदद करें।

अपकी दीवाली केवल परिवार के साथ

दीवाली रोशनी का त्योहार तो है ही, साथ में खुशियां भी लाती है। बच्चों से लेकर बूढ़ों तक हर कोई इस दिन का बेसबरी से इंतजार करता है। नए कपड़ों, रंग-बिरंगी मिठाइयों और रंगोली के सामान से बाजारों में रौनक आ जाती है। लोग जम कर खरीदारी करते हैं और अपने-अपने घरों को भी सजाते हैं। इस दिन पूरे देश में खुशी का माहौल रहता है।

इस दीवाली खुद भी सुरक्षित रहें और दूसरों को भी रखें इस लिये इस वर्ष किसी के घर न जाएं सब को फ़ोन पर ही बधाई दे दें। अच्छा भोजन खाएं, ज्यादा बाज़ार के उत्पाद न खाएं घर पर बना खाना खाएं और स्वास्थ्य का विशेष ध्यान दें और परिवार के साथ इसका आनंद लें।

हर त्योहार की अपनी खासियत होती है, ठीक इसी प्रकार रोशनी के इस पर्व को समृद्धि का सूचक माना जाता है। ज्यादातर घरों में इस दिन मां लक्ष्मी की पूजा-अर्चना की जाती है और धन-धान्य का वरदान मांगा जाता है। इस वर्ष पर्यावरण और स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए एक शांत और रोशनी से भरपूर त्योहार अपने-अपने परिवार के साथ मनाएं।

दीपावली (Deepawali) धन, धान्य, सुख, चैन व ऐश्वर्य का त्योहार है। भारत के विभिन्न राज्य इस अवसर पर पौराणिक कथाओं के आधार पर विशेष तरह की पूजा करते हैं। दिवाली, भारत तथा नेपाल में प्रमुख रूप से मनाया जाता है। इसके अलावा अन्य देशों में भी उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है।

भारत के विभिन्न स्थान पर दिपावली मानाने की वजह

भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों में दिवाली मानाने की अलग-अगल वजह है। उन में से कुछ प्रमुख निम्नवत् हैं-

• भारत के पूर्वी भाग में स्थित उड़ीसा, बंगाल इस दिन माता शक्ति को, महाकाली का रूप धारण करने के वजह से मनाते हैं। और लक्ष्मी के स्थान पर काली की उपासना करते हैं।
• भारत के उत्तरी भाग में स्थित पंजाब के लिए दिवाली बहुत महत्व रखता है क्योंकि 1577 में इसी दिवस पर अमृतसर में स्वर्ण मंदिर की नींव रखी गई थी। और इसी दिन पर सिक्खों के गुरु हरगोबिंद सिंह को जेल से रिहा किया गया था।
• भारत के दक्षिण भाग में स्थित राज्य जैसे तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश, आदि दिवाली पर, द्वापर में कृष्ण द्वारा नरकासुर के वध के खुशी में कृष्ण की पूजा करके मनाते हैं।

विदेश में दिपावली का स्वरूप

• नेपाल – भारत के अलांवा भारत के पड़ोसी देश नेपाल में दिपावली का त्योहार धूम-धाम से मनाया जाता है। इस दिवस पर नेपाली कुत्तों को सम्मानित करते हुए उनकी पूजा करते हैं। इसके अलांवा वह संध्याकाल में दीपक जलाते हैं तथा एक-दूसरे से मिलने उनके घर जाते हैं।
• मलेशिया – मलेशिया में हिंदुओं की संख्या ज्यादा होने के वजह से इस दिन पर सरकारी अवकाश दिया जाता है। लोग अपने घरों में पार्टी आयोजित करते हैं। जिसमें अन्य हिंदू व मलेशियाई नागरिक सम्मिलित होते हैं।
• श्रीलंका – इस द्वीप में रह रहे लोग दिवाली के सुबह उठ कर तेल से स्नान करते हैं और पूजा के लिए मंदिर जाते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त यहां दिवाली के मौके पर खेल, आतिशबाजी, गायन, नृत्य, भोज आदि आयोजित किया जाता है।

इन सब के अतिरिक्त अमेरिका, न्यूजीलैंड, मॉरिशस, सिंगापुर, रीयूनियन, फिजी में बसे हिंदुओं द्वारा यह पर्व मनाया जाता है।

दीपावली (Deepawali) पर ध्यान रखने योग्य बातें

विशेषकर लोग दीपावली (Deepawali)पर पटाखे जलाते हैं, यह पटाखे अत्यधिक खतरनाक होते हैं। मस्ती में होने के वजह से अनचाही दुर्घटना होने का खतरा बना रहता है। अतः त्योहार के धूम-धाम में व्यक्ति को सुरक्षा का भी पूर्ण खयाल रखना चाहिए।

दीपावली (Deepawali)पर अभद्र व्यवहार न करें

कई लोगों का मानना है, दिपावली के अवसर पर जुआ खेलने से घर में धन की बाढ़ आ जाती है। इस कारणवश अनेक लोग इस अवसर पर जुआ खेलते हैं। यह उचित व्यवहार नहीं है।

अत्यधिक पटाखो का जलाया जाना

पटाखों के आवाज से अनेक बेजुबान जानवर बहुत अधिक डरते हैं। इसके अलांवा बड़े-बुजुर्ग और गंभीर बीमारी से पीड़ित मरीज़ भी इन ध्वनि से परेशानियों का सामना करते हैं। इसके साथ ही दिवाली के दूसरे दिन प्रदुषण में वृद्धि हो जाती है।

दिवाली खुशीयों का त्योहार है। इससे जुड़ी प्रत्येक चीज हमें खुशी देती है। हम सभी को समाज के ज़िम्मेदार नागरिक होने के नाते यह कर्तव्य बनता है की हमारे मस्ती और आनंद के वजह से किसी को भी किसी प्रकार का कष्ट न होने पाए।
